Mason Oglesby and Zachary Annis started dating when they were 17, and 10 years later, they decided to take their relationship to the next level. Their wedding day, April 18, 2026, was a date chosen with intention and meaning. According to Mason, their wedding day felt entirely new, despite being together for 10 years.
California holds a special place in Mason’s heart, and she has a fond memory of driving along the Pacific Coast Highway with Zack. The couple’s proposal story is a romantic one, with Zack planning a surprise proposal in Malibu, disguised as an influencer event. Mason was surprised with a dress she had mentioned months earlier, and the proposal was followed by a celebration with In-N-Out, Champagne, and a weekend overlooking the coast.
Mason always knew she wanted to get married along 30A, a place that felt like a second home to her. The couple found the perfect venue, Kaiya Beach Resort, which was still in development at the time. With the help of Carolyn Touchette Events, the wedding planning and design came together seamlessly, creating an aesthetic that felt like a European garden layered with coastal ease.
Mason’s dress search was a year-long process, and she tried on nearly 100 dresses before finding the one. Her dress featured a basque waist with lace and pearl detailing, finished with a soft tulle overskirt. Zack’s wardrobe was curated with Suitsupply, reflecting a balance of timeless and personal style. Mason’s fashion story extended throughout the weekend, with a custom Old Hollywood-inspired dress for the rehearsal dinner and a pearl dress named after her, the “Mason Mini”, for the after-party.
The wedding weekend began with a rehearsal dinner at Raw & Juicy Alys Beach, with décor and catering by CC Boone. The wedding ceremony was captured by Masters & Masters Weddings and unfolded in a setting that was both intimate and expansive. The celebration included a first dance to ‘Coastline’ by Hollow Coves, reflecting the couple’s journey. The night transitioned into a more intimate after-party, with guests gathering at nearby villas on the property, and the celebration continued with pizza, cake, and wine by the pool.
While the couple is saving their full honeymoon for next year, they began married life with a mini-moon in the Cayman Islands. The after-party was a special moment for the couple, with Mason changing into her ‘Mason Mini’ dress and the celebration continuing with a more relaxed, late-night feel.
The wedding gallery features photos from the couple’s special day, showcasing their love and happiness. The photos capture the beauty of the wedding venue, the elegance of the bride’s dress, and the joy of the celebration.
