Fashion emerged as a standout feature: Helena wore an ethereal gown adorned with floral appliqué that seemed to float as she moved, while her bridesmaids appeared in soft pastel shades that complemented the palette. J. was pursuing French and Film Studies while Helena focused on French and English Literature, and that a series of missed introductions eventually led to their lasting partnership. Their proposal unfolded on the peaceful Sheep’s Head Peninsula in County Cork, where a thoughtful hike culminated at a 3,000-year-old marriage stone linked to Helena’s grandmother’s homeplace, underscoring the sentimental roots of their union.
